Membership supports access and connection. Medical visits, imaging, tests, and treatment are billed separately by the provider. A new badge is not included with every renewal.

Who qualifies for the resident wellness rate?

The $24 annual rate is for MD and DO physicians currently enrolled in a medical residency program. Current resident status must be verified before the discounted membership is approved.

Are appointments, tests, or treatment included?

No. Providers bill for medical services separately. Scheduling assistance depends on participating office policies, availability, and clinical urgency. Membership does not guarantee an appointment or a specific medical discount.

When would I receive the badge?

One badge and shipping are included with your first paid annual membership. No badge ships simply for saving a card. Payment and eligibility must be confirmed; the dispatch estimate will be stated before registration opens.

How will renewal work?

Registration is $0 today. With your express consent, Stripe securely saves your card for the first charge on January 1, 2027: $49 for physicians or $24 for verified residents. Annual renewal follows on January 1, 2028 and each January 1 afterward. Membership runs January 1–December 31, 2027. Cancel future renewal anytime by emailing info@doctormd.org. The $24 resident rate requires continued eligibility verification; a move to the $49 rate requires your consent. See the full renewal terms. Can I join from another region?

The initial launch focuses on El Paso County. Future regions will be announced as local participation is established.
